Pet Flight Nanny

As pet flight nannies, we specialize in accompanying and caring for pets during air travel, from departure to arrival. Not only do we ensure a comfortable and safe journey for your pet, but we coordinate and handle all of the logistics required for pet air travel - ensuring your pet is fully prepared to fly in style at takeoff!
Traveling Paws provides services to families and businesses within the US and its territories; however, your pick up or drop-off location must be local to Norfolk International Airport (ORF) in Norfolk, VA.
Please reach out to us if you require services for a chartered flight.
You have two options:

1) Indicate that you’d like us to purchase pet supplies for you (such as a flight approved pet crate, pet food, calming aids, etc.) and/or would like to rent certain supplies from us (i.e., pet crate). If you’re interested in this option, take a look at the Travel Essentials section beneath this section for pricing information.
Special notes:
- Since we must be able to confirm that your crate meets airline regulations prior to your pet’s trip, you must rent a pet crate from us or have us purchase one for you.
- All pets must fly with food and have a harness and leash for the flight.
- Disposable litterbox(es) must be purchased for trips with cats requiring an overnight stay or layover. Must purchase 1 litterbox per cat, per overnight stay/layover.
- Anything that you choose to have us purchase or rent from us will be added to your invoice as an additional trip expense.
- Any supplies that we purchase for you will be yours to keep.
- We can purchase items not listed on our site, if requested.
2) Arrange for certain supplies to be provided at pet pick-up (with the exception of the pet crate). Such supplies include pet food, pet harness and leash, and any calming aids.

Special notes:
- If you choose to provide or have someone else provide any of the required pet supplies (pet food, harness, and/or leash), but such supplies are not provided when we pick up your pet, your pet will not be able to fly.
